Launched less than a fortnight ago, Wave is an event creation app designed to foster social interaction and communication. The mobile app lets you create mini social networks for everyday events and activities.

Developed for Wave Technologies LLC, this social media app unites the social features of event planning with real time messaging and photo sharing capabilities to offer a compelling user experience.

Everything in Wave centers around events. The application ships the essential features for a user to organize an event. You can create events, invite your friends, chat with them, share photos, all from within the Wave app.

Events in the Wave app are identified by the four characteristics – Who, What, Where, and When. After you have supplied these details, you can preview the event before sending out invites. Wave users also have profile pages where they can view the list of waves (events) they have joined or hosted along with a list of their followers and following. Interestingly, the app dashboard offers five different views for event feed, which can be set to user preference.
